One of the couples my SO and I ride with have the same year and model with 26000 miles on it and it is a great bike. Never a break down of any kind. They are riding it round trip from Texas to Yellowstone next week with two other couples who have a Road Star and Virago, ( I think). I've ridden it a couple of times it has great low end torque and tops at out at about 130.
Also, Virago is no longer in production it has been replaced by the V-Star.
